Scott was born in Coral Gables, Florida and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and Winter Park, Florida. Mr. Meyer received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in May of 1991 from Vanderbilt University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami in 1995.

Scott was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1995. He was a former Assistant State Attorney with the Volusia County State Attorney’s Office from 1996-1998. He has been in private practice since 1998, actively practicing in Flagler and Volusia Counties in the areas of family law, criminal defense and personal injury.
Scott is married with three children and has lived in Volusia County for over 20 years.
